I have to admit that I wanted sugar REALLY badly in the afternoon. I was home a little early and watching tv and all I wanted was to snack.
I white knuckled it though and made it through.
Last night I did have a protein shake as I was doing a double-work out. The protein shake helped A LOT!
It helped mentally as well as energy wise. Mentally it helped because it was something sweet. When you are only eating protein, vegetables and healthy fats, not much is sweet tasting. It helped soothe that sugar craving I was having.
It also helped me get through Dance Mania and then TRX. I was EXHAUSTED when I got home, but definitely less than the day before.
Today is a rest day workout wise.
Scale is already down 4.4lbs!
