Made it through day 1

Day 1 is done and there was a lot less “white knuckling” than I thought!

I felt relatively good, except for a slight headache towards the end of the day.  In reading the facebook group, it looks like that was common.

I was TIRED last night, but that could also have been from my new routine.  At the same time of doing this, my son has started Kindergarten and I need to get up earlier (and get him up) and to school by 7:50 AM.

Last night I did get a chance to grill some chicken breast, salmon and sirloin tips.

I also realized that my food scale is missing so I’m going to have to stop by Target sometime today.  I can’t remember, but it was old so I might have thrown it away if it wasn’t working last time I tried to use it.

Looking forward to day 2!

About nancykerins

I am a 38 year full time working mother of one doing my best to get healthy. I had lapband surgery in November of 2010 and then had a revision to the vertical gastric sleeve in February 2012. The purpose of this blog is a therapeutic tool for me to work out my feelings and write about what is going on during this experience. If I can help others through this blog, that is just a bonus.
