I’m feeling pretty good about the 5K in general even though I’m a little disappointed in my intervals.
I was hoping by now I would be at least running 3 or 5 minute intervals and I seem stuck at 2 minutes.
I have a plan though and that is to keep repeating the same Couch to 5K routine until I get that 3 minutes down and I move up to 5 minutes.
Hopefully this weekend will be beautiful. The run is for a good charity (AIDS foundation) and I do love the location (Boston Esplanade).
It will be my last race though until September. I don’t think I want to sign up for a race in the hot summer weather, plus my husband is away most of the summer so things are already challenging in my house.
It will be good to have the rest of the summer to work on my running.
