Woah… Less than 100lbs to lose!

I can’t remember the last time I could say that I have less than 100lbs to lose, but I am there.

I got there and I didn’t even realize it.

It’s surreal and it’s hard for me to believe, but I am there.

I checked and my BMI is actually 39.9, which means that I reached another milestone: having a BMI that is low enough so I don’t quality for surgery anymore.

I know that I already had the surgery, but it still feels good to be in that range.

I went to mini-golfing and on the go karts with my son again this weekend and it just feels good to be able to do those things with him and not have to worry.

Losing weight doesn’t solve “all” of the problems in live, but it sure does take away a lot of the anxiety.

About nancykerins

I am a 38 year full time working mother of one doing my best to get healthy. I had lapband surgery in November of 2010 and then had a revision to the vertical gastric sleeve in February 2012. The purpose of this blog is a therapeutic tool for me to work out my feelings and write about what is going on during this experience. If I can help others through this blog, that is just a bonus.
