It’s now been a week since surgery

I'm still really tired.  I've only been home since Thursday, but been feeling really "lazy".

I actually slept until 12:30 PM today!

I've been able to get in about 2 protein shakes a day so far.  Yesterday I got in about 2 1/2.  For some reason I'm doing better when I make vanilla over chocolate.

I tried to do a little tomato soup diluted with milk and some cream of chicken soup and I'm not ready yet.  I'm really craving salty things though.

I'm going to try a little pureed cottage cheese or FF ricotta in a couple of days.

I've been able to keep hydrated though and that's what really matters.

I'm already back to 50lbs gone and set my next goal at 60lbs gone.

    Yay on staying hydrated!
    And of course you’re tired, you’ve just had major surgery! I know you know that, but it still bears repeating! Your body is healing and -to be honest- it probably isn’t getting the nutrition it would ideally want for that! (Yeah, I know, that’s the whole point, right?) Which means more fatigue to deal with.
    Rest, take care of yourself, and heal well!
