I can’t believe it’s been a month since I posted…

Wow, time does fly.

October was such a hectic month.  I feel like I had no free time.

I celebrated my year surgiversary on Tuesday.  I have to admit that I'm not so thrilled with my progress in general, but I haven't given up.  I have kept of 40lbs and I need to be happy with that.  I will continue working on losing more weight.

I saw Heart and Wellness for my measurements and my year appointment today.  They were very encouraging at least.  I have a follow up appointment in a month.

I see my therapist tomorrow and will discuss my feelings about this with her and maybe write some more.

The basic thing is I'm not taking time to take care of myself.  I'm not taking time to plan and to write things out.  I know that is what makes me successful.

I did journal my food today and that is a good thing.

About nancykerins

I am a 38 year full time working mother of one doing my best to get healthy. I had lapband surgery in November of 2010 and then had a revision to the vertical gastric sleeve in February 2012. The purpose of this blog is a therapeutic tool for me to work out my feelings and write about what is going on during this experience. If I can help others through this blog, that is just a bonus.

Nice to see you post again 🙂 Journaling sucks but it helps so much.

Oh, it’s good to see you!
Agree that journaling is a royal PITA but that it does help.
Sounds like you had a good visit with Health and Wellness, and that sounds positive!
