Eating Guideline #4: Eat what your body wants

1.  What is my reaction to this eating guideline?

How am i supposed to tell what my BODY wants?  How am I supposed to tell the difference between my body, my mind and my hormones?

2.  What is scary about it?  Would anyone else be threatened?

What is scary is what if my body only wants non-healthy foods?  It's scary because if I eat what my body wants, then I might gain weight.  If i eat what my body wants, I might not get healthy.  It's scary because I might lose control.

3.  How would my life need to change?

I would need to learn to trust myself.

4.  What is exciting about the following guideline?

My goal has always been to have a healthy relationship with food.  I want to be able to eat in moderation and not restrict myself.  If I'm only eating what my body wants, then I don't have to restrict myself.
