So what happens when you eat what you want and don’t journal for two days…?

The bad news is the last two days, I have not been paying attention to what I’ve been eating and it’s been very mindless. 

The good news is the band helped keep the portion sizes down.

I did throw up though from something getting stuck last night and it was not fun.

So this morning’s weigh in was a maintain.  I’m still 281.5 and at 39.5lbs lost.

I think I’m lucky to have a maintain considering.

I did make it to the gym on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and I’m planning on going tonight.

I packed my lunch today and had my normal breakfast and plan on tracking all of my food today.

This weekend was a reminder that the band does not do all of the work and it’s just a tool.  I still need to make the healthy choices.

    I started writing down what I eat today how do you do it do you just put the food and calories? have you seen lapband.com they have a spot that shows you in pie form what you ate

    It’s so easy to mindlessly eat….
    Sometimes I wonder why it has to be so hard for some and not others.. do I really think that all lean or thin or skinny people eat mindfully?? of course not!
    That stinks about getting sick in one way, in the other, it is showing you how this tool works.. and that alone should help with the eating!
    I see maintenance as good thing! You have lost almost every week for how long? Sooner or later, your body will catch up and say, hey , what’s happening here, I better hold on!
    Me, I need to be mindful of tracking and ect, I seem to get off kilter if I do not have to report…and with the program getting canceled yesterday, I really need to be careful! I did not work out, but I did shovel for almost 3 hours…
