Finally got my CPAP and Preadmission testing

Last Friday, I got my CPAP machine finally.

I have to say, it sucks.

I’m trying to get used to wearing it, but I can’t seem to get it on without it being overly tight.

I know a lot of people who were loving it from day one.

I go to bed every night trying to wear my CPAP.  The last two nights I took it off right around midnight because I couldn’t sleep with it.

I can’t seem to get it to the point where it doesn’t leak

I’m going to call the company and see what can be done.

I’m just so freaking tired and can’t sleep to get any sleep right now.

On another note, tomorrow is my presurgery endoscopy.

Yesterday I did preadmission testing for both my endoscopy and my sugery.  It’s getting more and more real.

I had to do some blood/urine tests, an ekg and then talk to anesthesia.  Took about an hour for everything.

Wish me luck tomorrow.

I am a 38 year full time working mother of one doing my best to get healthy. I had lapband surgery in November of 2010 and then had a revision to the vertical gastric sleeve in February 2012. The purpose of this blog is a therapeutic tool for me to work out my feelings and write about what is going on during this experience. If I can help others through this blog, that is just a bonus.
